So, after a call to La Maestra, Maricela "MJ" Suarez (Custom Shop Seymour Duncan), a new pickup kit was born. All the chunkiness, P.A.F. power and characteristic sizzle of Billy's sound was painstakingly recreated in a single-coil Strat pickup, proving that a sound as big as Texas can be contained in such a small mic.

The Red Devil for Strat features three specially calibrated pickups with Alnico 5 magnets. The bridge pickup is wound in such a way as to reproduce the spice of a P.A.F. and the power of Billy's sound. The neck and middle pickups bring Billy's characteristic warmth and bluesy grain, making them perfect for clean tones, rhythm or lead.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, the Red Devil series for Strat features Alnico 5 magnets, 4-conductor wiring and the pickups benefit from a wax bath for optimal performance.
