Seymour Duncan’s Black Winter pickups were specifically designed for black metal, death metal, and any genre bordering on extreme metal. These overwound humbuckers with three ceramic magnets faithfully and powerfully deliver the aggressive character typical of Nordic extreme metal, with incredible clarity in the mids and highs while the lows remain controlled and precise. The Black Winter is engineered to handle any tuning, as low as you want; its voicing encourages both aggressive palm mutes and fluid sweep picking.

Handmade in California, the Black Winter is available in a Trembucker version as well as 7- and 8-string options in humbucker and soapbar formats. 4-conductor construction for expanded wiring options.
