Seymour Duncan’s Black Winter pickups were specially designed for black metal, death metal, and any style close to extreme metal. These humbuckers, equipped with three overwound ceramic magnets, faithfully and powerfully deliver the aggressive character typical of Nordic extreme metal with incredible clarity in the mids and highs, while the lows remain controlled and precise. The Black Winter is built to handle any tuning, as low as you want; its voicing encourages both aggressive palm mutes and fluid sweep picking.

Handmade in California, the Black Winter is available in a Trembucker version as well as 7- and 8-string models in humbucker and soapbar formats. 4-conductor construction for more wiring options.
