Tipper Bodhran, designed by Thórralf Shuh, with leather whips, brown
The bodhrán is a drum used in Irish music, known for its warm, deep tones. It is played with a stick called the tipper, held from the middle. Meinl offers two versions of this instrument: a Celtic model that includes a cross frame and an Irish model that has a deeper frame and a dampening layer on the rim.
