The base of the sleeve features a 10 mm EVA shock absorber with a housing for the guitar's belt clip, effectively protecting it from any vertical drop.

To protect this sensitive area even more effectively in the event of a fall, the M80 Sleeve features a lightened version of the famous Headlock neck suspension system, molded in a block of EVA rubber. The neck is fixed directly into the profiled Headlock groove when the guitar is inserted into the case, from the top as with Vertigo cases.
