The signal is then routed to your pedals via a high-impedance, transformer-isolated effects loop, with independent send and return level controls to optimize the signal-to-noise ratio and reduce distortion. A tone control on the return helps tame the excessive brightness of certain pedals, while the blend control offers precise balance between the dry (direct) and wet (processed) signals. Setup is simple and intuitive: plug your mic in via XLR, connect your pedals with standard 1/4" jacks, then route the output to the mixing console or PA system.
Two footswitches complete the package: one engages the effects loop, the other serves as a mute to cut the signal or enables 100% wet operation when the direct signal is not desired. Delay, reverb, distortion, wah-wah… with the Voco-Loco Mk2, the field of possibilities opens up to you, limited only by your imagination!
