Description

It's Hybrid horn/reflex design combines the acoustic efficiency of strawberry technology with the low-frequency extension reflex design, allowing it to significantly produce higher output levels than a traditional reflex subwoofer.

The frequency response ranges from 32Hz to 150Hz +/- 3dB. It is equipped with two 18" (460mm) long-throw drivers and 4.5" (115mm) neodymium voice coil. (115mm) neodymium voice coil. The cones are treated against moisture.

The cabinet is constructed of multi-layered plywood and covered with tough and rigid textured black polyurethane. The front of the cabinet is protected by a perforated steel grille, and interlocking pads protect the top and bottom surfaces, and prevent movement when stacking.

The SXH218 can be powered by either a single amplifier channel of a 4-channel iK42, or a bridged pair if maximum power is required. Its connection sockets are wired so that a four-point cable will allow the amplifier to power two SXH218s.

The SXH218's parameter settings are preset in Vu-Net when used in conjunction with an iK42 amplifier. Settings information is available from Martin Audio and on their website when used with alternative amplifiers. Waterproof Cone
