Description
Very versatile and with very effective controls, these pedals feature a built-in 3-position compressor with adjustable threshold, and two effects loops -one for clean, one for saturated sound- usable via a Y insert cable.
The Ultimate version of the Billy Sheehan Signature combines all the features that make the Standard and Deluxe versions so strong, while bringing a host of new top-notch features.
The Ultimate features a Boost channel capable of pushing the gain to the limit, and a built-in phase inverter altering the overall distortion output. In addition to being equipped with new low-noise switches, this exceptional pedal offers the possibility to change the chip (op-amp) of the pedal, opening the door to a radical change in the character of the saturation.
The major new feature of this Ultimate version concerns the two-position frequency filter: High and Low. This switch shifts the entire frequency spectrum of the Tone filter to low or high frequencies to expand the pedal's capabilities. The High position adds a whole new palette of distortion, which was not possible before.
More compact and lightweight than previous versions, the Ultimate also features new magnetic switches, which are very quiet and precise.
