Description

So, after a call to La Maestra, Maricela "MJ" Suarez (Custom Shop Seymour Duncan), a new microphone kit was born. All the size and power of the P.A.F. and the characteristic crackle of Billy's sound was meticulously recreated in a single coil Strat type mic, proving that a sound as big as Texas can be contained in such a small mic. Red Devil for Strat consists of three specially calibrated mics with Alnico 5 magnets. The bridge pickup is wound in such a way as to reproduce the spice of a P.A.F. and the power of Billy's sound. The neck and middle pickups bring the warmth and bluesy grain characteristic of Billy's sound, making them perfect for clear, rhythmic or lead.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, the Red Devil Series for Strat is equipped with Alnico 5 magnets, 4-conductor wiring, and the pickups are wax-bath for optimum performance.Gibbons Red Devil signature kit consists of a neck pickup, midrange pickup and bridge pickup. The big Texas sound of the legendary ZZ Top guitarist, an exact replica of his Les Paul '59 Pearly Gates. possible finishes: white, black, cream and parchment.
