Description
It allows a non-technical user to locally control music source selection and/or audio level.
You can connect up to two remote controllers: one per zone, or a single unit to control both zones simultaneously. A configuration options menu lets the installer set its functions to meet the specific requirements of each application. Additional switches can be wired for room-grouping configurations and to disable the remote when settings must not be changed.
The optional handheld PL-5 infrared remote adds wireless control and extra features, including storing and recalling up to 4 source/level presets.
The PL-14 can be mounted in a single-gang wall box using the supplied standard faceplate, or on furniture using the cutout template. It interfaces with the GR3/4 using standard CAT5 cables. The second controller connects in series with the first for convenient single-run wiring. A space is provided on the panel for custom labeling.
