Description
Ebonite or metal, two ligature systems, two tonal colors.
Otto Link mouthpieces made from ebonite come with a plastic cap and a double-screw metal ligature that ensures the reed is held perfectly on the mouthpiece. The 24-karat gold-plated metal mouthpieces, on the other hand, are fitted with a ligature featuring a single screw that bears against a plate applying pressure at four points around the heel of the reed, thereby offering increased ease of vibration.

The use of machines calibrated to one-hundredth of a millimeter allows Otto Link to offer every musician a mouthpiece machined to the utmost precision. Hand polishing by the company’s most skilled employees completes this manufacturing process, whose reputation is well established.
