Description

The S-ART tweeter, meticulously refined and still handmade at ADAM Audio’s Berlin factory, works in perfect synergy with the new HPS waveguide, delivering absolutely precise imaging across a generously expanded sweet spot.

The S2V’s compact dimensions conceal remarkable power: a 300 W Class D amplifier drives the woofer, while a 50 W Class A/B module powers the S-ART tweeter. Together, they enable SPL levels up to 120 dB per pair.

The custom-developed DSP for the S Series optimizes the crossover filters to ensure a linear response across the entire frequency range. It also offers user EQ, acoustic calibration, and voicing functions. The DSP manages tweeter protection via a limiter, processes incoming signals via the AES3 digital inputs, and will enable various expansion options in the future. Software updates are easily carried out via the integrated USB port, which also lets you connect a computer and control DSP functions through a dedicated software interface.

Thanks to its extremely accurate frequency response and perfectly balanced stereo image, the S2V reveals the tiniest sonic details, making it an ideal choice for the most demanding studio environments.
