The new SI SERIES ceiling loudspeakers offer high quality, a particularly discreet and customizable appearance, simple installation and operation, powerful components and, above all, uncompromising sound quality.
The CM-Xs not only achieve a significantly higher maximum sound pressure level than previous generations, but also finer sound quality thanks to their high-quality components. These include ultra-low-resonance metal housings, new passive filters and, last but not least, detailed DSP equalization.
Everywhere music and speech need to be appreciated, the SI SERIES CM-X is the ideal tool.

The new CM-Xs can also be used for the emergency public address system in accordance with EN 50849, thus fulfilling a dual function at lower cost.
In larger or more demanding applications, the SI SERIES CM-X can also be combined with other HK Audio installation products to guarantee homogeneous sound whether HK Audio VORTIS (2), SI SERIES or FINEO!"
The CM-4, CM-6 and CM-8 can be installed on the ceiling without additional accessories.
Optional C-rings and load-distribution rails are available for installation in suspended ceilings with limited load capacity.
Standard delivery includes two rimless, very flat grilles, black and white, which can be quickly replaced thanks to a magnetic fastener.
A template, also included, enables the installer to quickly and precisely make the appropriate cut-outs.
The loudspeaker load volume, is made of high-quality steel, very rigid and low-resonant thanks to its specific shape and reinforcements. As a result, the speaker's sound signature is not impacted by the acoustics of its direct installation environment.
The speaker is coaxial with a central dome tweeter, a short-wave guide for the woofer, integrated bass-reflex channels and a power selector.
It allows switching between Low-Z (8 ohms) or High-Z (100/70 V) and the respective power taps of the integrated transformer.
Thanks to the magnetically attached front grille, this rotary switch is easy to reach and can be operated without additional tools.
All the plastics used for the SI SERIES CM-X are manufactured with special flame-retardant additives, so that current international safety standards are met as standard.
Sophisticated cardboard packaging also limits the otherwise problematic high-volume plastic waste for large-scale installation projects, and promotes recycling.
In addition, filter data is available for many different digital signal processors (DSPs).
Simulation data is also available in GLL format for EASE (4.4/5) and EASE EVAC (2).

Tailored integration.
Filters for use are available for a total of 11 DSPs for operation on any type of installation.
Using the impulse response plugs also supplied, specified equalizations can be easily transferred to other systems.
