Description

The CHA660 is a 2-way horn loudspeaker. It is designed for long range reproduction of music and speech in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications.

The construction consists of a 1" high frequency compression driver and a 6.5" mid/low frequency driver. The selection and use of high quality components makes the CHA660 a significantly better performer than other traditional horn speakers. A wide frequency response and high efficiency ensure extraordinary clarity of speech and an extended frequency response for music.

The CHA660 has an RMS power handling of 60 Watts and a maximum power handling of 120 Watts. Sensitivity measures 99 dB while a maximum continuous sound pressure level of 116 dB can be achieved. The frequency response (±3 dB) ranges from 100 Hz to 16 kHz.

A line transformer allows the connection of the loudspeaker in 100 Volt and 70 Volt public address systems. Different power settings are available 60W, 30W, 15W, 7.5Watts.

The cabinet is constructed of UV and impact resistant ABS and a stainless steel mounting bracket allows secure tilting for perfect directional placement. This makes it compliant with IP66 protection requirements, providing a weatherproof solution for permanent outdoor installation.

The speaker connection is via a screw connector located in a waterproof junction box at the back of the speaker.
