Description
From the coffee shop to the boardroom, ADORN loudspeakers are designed for sound reinforcement applications that require high performance from ultra-compact, visually unobtrusive speakers.
With Martin Audio's signature sound, the A40 and A55 2-way loudspeakers are the ideal choice for ambient music systems that demand superior sound quality.
This speaker range also provides a seamless sound transition within a multi-room complex using larger Martin Audio systems such as the CDD or BlacklineX.
Aesthetically pleasing speakers:
The ADORNs are unobtrusive and elegant with smooth, harmonious lines. Available as standard in black or white, they can be easily painted to blend in with any interior decor and architectural environment.
Low impedance and transformer options:
The A40 and A55 have a nominal impedance of 16 ohms, allowing four or more speakers to be driven in parallel by one amplifier channel, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. Their designated 'T' options feature an internal high-quality 70V/100V multi-tap line transformer with a switch to select the output level.
Overload protection:
For total bandwidth protection, the low and high frequency portions are individually overload protected in both the low impedance and transformer models.
Composed of a 4" (100mm) LF driver and a 0.75" (19mm) silk dome HF driver on a 110° x 80° horn, it handles 40W AES, 160W peak and can produce 109dB peak at 1 meter. The speaker offers a smooth frequency response and strong bass reproduction that extends to 70Hz.
