NORD NE7-73 Nord Electro 7 73 semi-weighted keys
Nord Electro 7 73 semi-weighted keys
The Nord Electro series offers a complete palette of incredibly realistic sounds in a compact, lightweight instrument. Easy to use, it is highly versatile while letting you get straight to the point. It also lets you load your own sounds as well as all those from the Nord Sample Library, including a collection of the legendary Mellotron and Chamberlin.
The latest generation of Nord Electro is even more powerful. It features a new programmable synthesizer section, dedicated effects per section, and a refined control panel with a high‑resolution color display. It also combines the very latest features from the brand’s piano sections and the onboard organ modeling from the brand‑new Nord Organ 3. The Nord Electro 7 therefore delivers exceptional versatility in a lightweight instrument that remains easy to use and built for the stage. This new version includes numerous improvements, including: - New high-definition color display - Modulation wheel and Pitch Stick - Sound navigation using push-encoder knobs - New Kawai keybed for the 73 HP version (Portable Hammer Action) - Tonewheel organ and rotary speaker modeling from the brand-new Organ 3 - New editable synth section with sample playback, analog waveforms, and FM synthesis, plus a low-pass filter with resonance and filter and amp envelopes - As with Nord Stage 4, Nord Piano 6, and Nord Grand 2, each sound module now has its own independent effects section with a shared reverb SPECIFICATIONS: General - 61-note semi-weighted waterfall keyboard (C to C), velocity-sensitive - Seamless transitions when changing programs - 3 independent sound modules: Piano, Sample Synth, and Organ - Split or layer (advanced split mode); each module assignable to either zone or both zones independently - 9 keyboard split points indicated by LEDs - Redesigned sound navigation with push-encoder knobs - High-definition color display - Full effects section independent for each sound module - Aux KB mode allowing one sound module to be controlled from an external MIDI keyboard Piano Section - Dedicated Flash ROM for storing piano samples from the Nord Piano Library - Polyphony: 120 voices - Sympathetic resonance - Dynamic filters - Dynamic compression - 3 velocity response curves Synth Section - Polyphony: 30 voices - Sample playback, analog waveforms, and FM synthesis - Dedicated Flash ROM for storing samples from the Nord Sample Library or created with the Nord Sample Editor - Low-pass filter with cutoff and resonance controls and velocity modulation - Control over frequency modulation and partials (in FM synthesis mode) - Filter and amplitude envelopes with Attack/Decay/Release controls - Mono/legato mode - 3 unison modes - Vibrato with adjustable depth and rate Organ Section - 6 models available: 3 new tonewheel organ models, 2 analog electronic organs with full polyphony, and 1 carefully sampled liturgical (church) organ sourced from the Nord Organ 3 - 3 types of tonewheel emulations to choose how vintage your organ sounds - 9 physical drawbars with LED bar-graph position indicators - Completely reworked rotary speaker modeling with selectable microphone positions and the stop position of the virtual speaker when rotation is halted Effects Section - 1 independent effects section per sound module: - Effect 1: tremolo, pan 1, pan 2, wah, and ring modulation - Effect 2: phaser, flanger, chorus, ensemble, and vibe - Amp simulations: 5 amp models with overdrive and 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mids (±15 dB) - Delay with Analog and Ping-Pong (1/2) modes and tap tempo - Compressor with a single control Master Effect: - Reverb: five algorithms—room, stage, spring, hall, and cathedral—with dry/wet control and Bright or Dark modes - Category: stage piano - Color: Red - Dimensions (mm): 1066 x 294 x 104 - Inputs: USB, Expression Pedal, Sustain Pedal, MIDI, Rotary speaker control, Monitor In – stereo mini-jack - Number of effects: 55 - Number of keys: 73 - Weight: 9.50 kg - Sympathetic resonance: Yes - Velocity-sensitive: Yes - Outputs: Headphones, Mono & stereo audio - Split & layer: layer, split - Key action: Semi-weighted waterfall with triple sensors - Transpose: Yes - Additional specs: General - 73-note semi-weighted waterfall keyboard (E to E), velocity-sensitive - Seamless transitions when changing programs - 3 independent sound modules: Piano, Sample Synth, and Organ - Split or layer (advanced split mode);
