Description

The CDD coax is also used on the XEs but this time accompanied by a special waveguide that wraps around the speaker and creates a curve at the front aimed at reducing diffraction on the one hand and for even more controlled directivity control towards the bottom of the spectrum on the other.

Designed as a complete system with IK42 processed amps for an increased and consistent degree of performance worldwide.

The wedge's sonic design has been optimized with the help of renowned monitor engineers to provide the ideal tonal balance, i.e. a highly articulated low end and an optimal high-midrange dosage that is very intelligible to override the ambient sound of the most polluted decks without being overly aggressive for that matter.

The 12-inch XE300 is switchable bi-amp/passive and the 15-inch XE500 is bi-amp only.

Both models are equipped with folding riser feet located at the rear of the wedge allowing for changes in dispersion angle.
