Timeless vintage lines.
The timeless silhouette that inspired the ST350's design is no longer in evidence: the characteristic double notch guarantees excellent access to the last fret, combined with three pickups in HSS configuration, a well-known bridge/vibrato block, and its vintage aged-look cover plate. This classic design has been taken up by Italian manufacturer Eko to make the ST350 an attractive, ergonomic guitar with a retro look, and above all very versatile for beginner guitarists.
Quality lutherie.
Despite its most affordable price, the ST350's lutherie has received the utmost attention in order to offer beginner guitarists an attractive and very well finished guitar. The body, crafted from poplar for strength, is highlighted by a gloss varnish. The sturdy, comfortable 4-point screw-in maple neck is topped by a laurel fingerboard that brings smoothness and stability to the maple snap.
A versatile HSS configuration.
On the electronics side, the ST350 is equipped with 3 pickups in a so-called HSS configuration, which brings great sonic versatility. The double "Humbucker" pickup in bridge position delivers rounder tones and powerful solidity in distortion! The other two single-coil pickups retain the more traditional Strat-like sound. The 5-position selector widens the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions (low, middle and high) associated with each of the three pickups, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel for deeper, velvety tones. The vibrato block incorporates independently adjustable bridges to fine-tune the action and harmonics of each string, and a classic vibrato to bring a little character to your playing!
