Description
The robust, comfortable roasted maple neck with a 5-bolt joint is topped with a 24-fret roasted maple fingerboard, providing comfort and brightness for your highest solos. The wood’s clarity and figuring are contrasted by elegant black hardware. The Eko Steel tremolo features individually adjustable saddles to fine-tune each string’s action and intonation. Locking tuners in a 4+2 configuration ensure tuning stability and secure pitch. Finally, the alder grain and the body’s natural finish are highlighted with a gloss coat.
A highly versatile electronics configuration!
On the electronics side, the Aire 601 Lignum is fitted with two Eko ‘Rockbucker’ single-coils and a humbucker. This bridge-position humbucker can be split to single-coil via the second tone knob’s push-pull function. The 5-way selector broadens the instrument’s tonal palette, with three positions (neck, middle, and bridge) tied to each of the three pickups for bold, powerful sounds, and two in-between positions wired in parallel that deliver more scooped, velvety tones. This highly versatile, splittable HSS configuration combined with the 5-way selector lets you explore every musical style.
