Description
The robust, comfortable roasted maple neck, secured with a 5-bolt joint, is topped with a 24-fret roasted maple fingerboard that adds comfort and brightness to your highest solos. The Eko Steel HRC57 tremolo features individually adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and intonation of each string. The 4+2 locking tuners ensure stable tuning. Finally, the glossy gray finish graces the top as well as the front of the headstock, elegantly showcasing the flamed maple.
A highly versatile electronics configuration!
On the electronics side, the Aire 801 Musa is equipped with two single-coil pickups and a humbucker, specially selected by EKO. The bridge-position humbucker can be split to a single-coil via the push-pull function on the tone knob. The 5-way selector expands the instrument’s tonal palette, with three positions (low, center, and high) tied to each of the three pickups delivering clear, powerful sounds, and two in-between positions wired in parallel for more scooped, velvety tones. This highly versatile, coil-splittable HSS configuration combined with the 5-way switch lets you explore every musical style.
