Description

The metal added to the plastic mix in the form of micronized copper is minimal in the first string and maximal in the fourth string: this ensures perfect acoustic homogeneity of the whole.

These strings don't catch and glide perfectly under the fingers of the left hand.

The diameter is small enough to be comparable to standard spun strings on acoustic bass guitars.

The overall tension is increased compared to the Thundergut, Thunderblack and Thunder Red series.

All these elements offer a beautiful sonic power that allows acoustic use of the instrument, unamplified.

This range of strings represents one of the major innovations carried by Aquila Corde Armoniche. This new formula combining metal and synthetic elastomers exponentially amplifies the instrument's volume and gives it exceptional tonal balance. The improved feel and higher tension facilitate modern techniques such as slap, slide and artificial harmonics. The low, powerful effect of the double bass is easily imitated, and this high volume allows the instrument to be used acoustically, even within a band.

Compared with traditional elastomer strings for bass ukuleles, Thunderbrown strings offer several advantages:
