PRIMACOUSTIC RX17HF
Designed for close listening, the Recoil Stabilizer™ is a monitor speaker stand that eliminates disturbances related to resonances between the speaker and the stand, and provides stability that reduces recoil caused by the energy of speaker movement.
This speaker platform is made up of 3 elements: a high-density urethane foam base that isolates the monitor from the tablet, a thick 6mm laser-cut steel plate and a thin neoprene foam surface. The high-density foam effectively isolates the speaker, eliminating vibrations and resonances that always induce phase anomalies. The steel plate, which represents a significant mass of the structure, ensures the loudspeaker's stability. Finally, the neoprene coating on the top prevents any slippage, so the monitor remains firmly in place. By reducing the speaker's recoil, since the driver coil generates energy that "pushes forward", the initial transient no longer suffers from delay, and the resulting impulse is sharper and more defined. After a few listens, you start to notice more detail across the spectrum, improved transient response and greater depth. This not only makes for an easier mixing experience, and given that Recoil Stabilizers eliminate unwanted resonances, the mix is logically better reproduced in other rooms and on other listening systems.
