The Radial SGI consists of a pair of modules, a transmitter (SGI-TX) and a receiver (SGI-RX) that allows a guitar to be remotely located up to 100m from the amplifier.The SGI is a unity gain device using a 100% discrete class A circuit for fantastic sound and a transformer to eliminate ground loops.In the studio, the SGI allows the guitarist to play in the control room to benefit from studio monitoring.In the live environment, the SGI allows the amp to be remotely located so that it doesn't interfere with the front of house sound or the monitors.The guitar is plugged into the SGI-TX which takes care of the impedance and level conversion, as well as the balancing of the signal. The output is similar to that of a DI, allowing it to be connected to multi-pair stage or studio systems.
