Description

The BASO18 features an 18" high-performance woofer with an RMS power handling of 900 watts and a maximum power handling of 1800 watts. The strength of this loudspeaker comes from a 4" four-layer coil in combination with an oversized ferrite type magnet which provides a high force factor. In combination with the low-loss suspension, this results in a linear behaviour with high efficiency and a very wide frequency range. The results of this highly efficient design are a sensitivity of 96 dB with a continuous sound pressure generating capacity of up to 129 dB. The frequency response is between 32 Hz and 300 Hz, going down to 30 Hz at -10 dB.
