Arturia had announced it: the MicroFreak is an evolutionary synthesizer, so in two years' time, your MicroFreak may not be the same as it is today. Indeed, Arturia hadn't lied to us, with this new version adding a 16-band Vocoder delivering both nappe-like sounds and scratchy Kraftwerk-style bass.


** A gooseneck pickup specially designed for vocoder**

Although you can use your cell phone's headset/microphone combo on the MicroFreak, Arturia, keen to offer the best, supplies a magnificent gooseneck pickup to attach to the MicroFreak. This comes as standard with the MicroFreak Vocoder.


**An incredible synthesizer keyboard.**

The Microfreak's flat keyboard may come as a surprise, but it'll give you pleasure and inspiration as soon as your fingers settle on it: it reacts to velocity and even aftertouch! But wait, this is a "Freak", so more was needed. So it's polyphonic aftertouch you're after. The 5 x 7 modulation matrix, which lets you interact with this aftertouch in particular, opens doors and opens up undreamt-of possibilities.
