The Peak further features a multi-function analog filter resonating for each voice with 3 points of distortion - pre-filter, post-filter and global - in an analog signal chain. It is sensitive to the polyphonic aftertouch, which multiplies the possibilities of expression of the machine. Reverb, delay and chorus effects round out the arsenal, not to mention the built-in arpeggiator.
The modulation system features a 16-slot matrix and 16 direct assignments accessible in the main controls so as to facilitate intuitive patch design and sound editing. 3 ADSR envelopes and 2 Lfo are available for each voice but also more complex or secondary assignments through an immediately available menu. In addition, 2 animated buttons allow the musician to instantly edit patches.
The Peak connects to modular systems via a CV modulation input and features DIN (5-pin) format Midi inputs/outputs for connecting other Midi devices. In addition, it can be connected to a Mac or PC to save an unlimited number of patches using Components software.
