Description

Since 1982, the year it was first produced, thousands of budding drummers around the world have cut their teeth on this Pearl Export! And the return of this complete Pearl kit, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of cash-strapped musicians, can only delight young and old alike. This new edition now includes the Demonator bass drum pedal and a Sabian SBR cymbal pack. All that’s missing is the drummer, not included…

New suspension mounts.

But the innovations don’t stop there, thanks to brand-new tom mounts that rival far more expensive systems. The OptiLoc system uses high-performance rubber components that deliver maximum sustain and rich resonance in all circumstances. Not to mention that this mounting system adjusts in a flash to your usual playing position.

Poplar and mahogany.

When it comes to wood, Pearl has managed to consign the crate-wood shells of some budget brands to the past, opting instead for a six-ply poplar and mahogany combination—an obviously winning pairing. This commitment to quality is also found in the various stands, especially the snare and cymbal stands equipped with the UniLock system, exceptionally effective in any position.
