Heir to the legendary AC30 and its Top Boost channel.
The Top Boost sound has been a source of inspiration for countless guitarists since the 1960s and continues to be a benchmark on stage and in the studio today. The AC30S1 focuses on the unique "Top Boost" channel sound that is naturally considered the signature sound of the AC30. It uses a full tube design, with two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and four EL84 tubes in the power amp, for every nuance of the Top Boost channel's sonic character, from the sparkle of a fat overdrive.
Meeting today's needs
The AC30S1 provides the necessary expandability to suit the varied playing styles of today's guitarists. The effect loop and its send and return connectors allow convenient connection of external effects. An external speaker output is also provided to attach an external speaker for added dispersion. The effect section is getting a facelift with a digital reverb now integrated.
