The AC15 first appeared in 1956 and although its elder brother, the AC30, stole the show a few years later, it remained one of the flagships of the brand which, for the philistine, is still the model for guitar amplification half a century later., Vox did not rest on its laurels and brought its classic sound up to date with the AC15 Custom, an amp with two EL84 tubes for the power stage and three 12AX7 tubes for the preamplifier, in other words the guarantee of an unbeatable sound quality.beautiful power is served by a 12" Celestion Greenback 12" driver that can respond to all the dynamic demands of the amp and therefore, a fortiori, of your guitar playing. But Vox didn't stop along the way because while they have kept the timeless aesthetics of the original model, they have also included a spring reverb, triggered via footswitch, a tremolo effect reminiscent of the good old days of rock 'n' roll, and even a master volume. Allowing this mythical amp to remain a model of the genre for current music as well as for the great rock classics.
