Description
For all fans of Brian May's sound, Vox pays tribute to one of his most famous exponents with a new MV-50 model. The virtuoso guitarist and legendary innovator of the band Queen, a loyal user of Vox amps since his early days, personally supervised and approved the making of this mini amp head.
Sound Signature
In order to reproduce the specific grain of this iconic guitarist, VOX not only redesigned the circuitry of its MV-50 amp head embedding the new Nu-Tube, but also took the opportunity to add a Treble Booster from KAT (Knight Audio Technologies), the historical manufacturer of the effect used by Brian May.
A versatile tool
Like the previous versions of the MV-50 head, this Brian May signature thus offers 50w of this specific grain in an ultra-compact, ultra-light and very versatile format. Indeed, beyond its standard use in amp head mode, it can be used as a pre-amp or as a direct input into the table or sound card thanks to a built-in cabinet simulation.
