The 4K over IP extender system offers the ability to stream 4K video from a PC via a Gigabit IP network and manage this source remotely via USB interfaces. The transmitter can be combined with a receiver (No. 38267 - not included) to establish a point-to-point connection up to 100m (393ft). This transmitter can also be linked to several receivers, enabling one source to be managed from several consoles (receivers), or a wall of screens to be built up from a Gigabit network switch (supporting 8kB Jumbo frames).
In addition to the audio signal integrated into the HDMI signal, this device can manage 2 additional audio channels (1 x audio output on the transmitter side, and 1 microphone input on the receiver side) and an SPDIF optical output on the receiver for connecting an audio amplifier.
The HDMI over IP extender system is capable of transmitting bidirectional IR signals (20-60Khz), making it ideal for use with remote controls.
This equipment is an ideal solution for control rooms or for remote server management (via KVM control), or for broadcasting AV signals to one or more screens (wall of screens, up to 16x16 screens), often used in Digital Signage systems.
