This active cable overcomes the distance and performance restrictions of standard USB cables. Thanks to its USB A male and USB A female connectors, it enables Type A devices such as storage devices, webcams and other devices to be connected at longer distances to PCs, notebooks and tablets, while ensuring flexible positioning. Up to 4 extension cables can be connected in series to achieve a distance of up to 12m. The USB 3.0 active extension cable is compatible with all computers equipped with a USB Type A port. The cable's unique, slim design enables installation in tight environments - an advantage over other active USB cables that use bulky connectors. The USB Active Extension also features a DC socket for connecting an external power supply (not included) when using USB peripherals with higher power requirements.
