Until now, most powered PA speakers lack the power reserve and thus the dynamic range to perform live. Martin Audio remedies this problem by unveiling the CDD-LIVE!
The CDD-LIVE! like the CDD series installation loudspeakers combine the benefits of coaxial "source point" with the advantages of differential directivity.
This technology provides wider horizontal coverage in proximity and better homogeneity over depth.
As a result, a rectangular-shaped coverage footprint is obtained with the corners of the area to be sounded better covered, thus reducing the number of required diffusion points.
With three full-range models and two subwoofers, the CDD-LIVE! range can cover a wide variety of applications as back-up or in front of small gauges. From concert, DJ or institutional event sound reinforcement to club, or venue installation.
The full-range speakers are equipped with 2 channels of processed amplification (2-way active), the treble being FIR filtered at low latency for increased phase linearity.
Equipped with an analog XLR input, the CDD Live also have a Dante interface that will allow digital signal distribution from a console or matrix.
A preset selector is available on each speaker: Full Range, With Sub or Monitoring for the heads. Normal or cardio (in pairs) for the subs.
The Vu-Net software, common to all the brand's systems and especially the MLA systems, allows full control of the DSP of each networked CDDLive: Parametric and Shelf equalizers, 200ms delay.
The integrated Class D amplifiers, benefit from an electrical efficiency of 89% and are equipped with a power factor correction (PFC) power supply circuit allowing supply voltages between 85 and 265 Volts.
