LINDY 38215: HDBaseT C6-100m HDMI & VGA transmitter with PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function
This HDBaseT-compatible transmitter transmits HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, stereo audio, IR and RS232 signals up to 100m. It supports resolutions up to Full HD 1080p and 48-bit color depth. It can supply the receiver with 24V via PoH and connects via a shielded Cat.6 RJ45 cable. Easy to install and control via buttons on the box or an infrared remote control.
This product is designed to work in harmony with HDBaseT receivers. It is capable of transferring not only HDMI and VGA signals, but also Ethernet, stereo audio, IR remote control and RS232 signals. What's more, the VGA signal is converted to digital format after scaling.
It is capable of transmitting an HDMI or VGA high-definition signal over a distance of up to 100m to an HDBaseT/C6 receiver. It supports HDTV resolutions up to Full HD 1080p and color depths up to 48 bits, however, 3D signals are not compatible.
It also supports PC resolutions ranging from 640x480 to 1920x1200 60Hz. Video projectors with HDBaseT input can be used as receivers, as well as C6 receivers with PoH (Art.No.38218), stand-alone receivers (Art.No.38118) or wall-mounted receivers (Art.No.38114).
This transmitter is capable of supplying the receiver with 24 Volts thanks to the PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function. Connection between transmitter and receiver is via a shielded Cat.6 RJ45 cable. It is not recommended to connect the HDBaseT ports to an Ethernet network!
Installation is simple: simply connect the transmitter to the video source via an HDMI cable, the receiver to the screen or video projector, and link the transmitter and receiver via a dedicated RJ45 link, then power up the system.
It can be controlled via buttons on the box or an infrared remote control. It is also capable of transmitting, if required, 10/100Base-T Fast Ethernet, stereo audio, RS232 and IR remote control signals over a distance of up to 100m.
For the HDBaseT link, we recommend using unshielded UTP cat.5e/6/6a cables. If wall sockets are also used, a maximum 5m cable should be used between each socket and the HDBaseT device. For medium lengths, a single-strand AWG24 installation cable should be used. If a shielded cable is already in use, it is imperative to interrupt the shielding at both ends using UTP cable or via a double RJ45 UTP female. Single-stranded RJ45 cables and RJ45 cables on reels are available here.
