Description

Lindy's Extender Splitter Cat.6 4 Port HDMI and IR is a sophisticated device that transmits and distributes HDMI and IR signals to four displays over distances of up to 50m. It uses a Cat.6 UUTP cable (not supplied) to perform this function. IR signals (20-60kHz) can also be extended using the included IR transmitter and receiver cables.

This unit is capable of supporting resolutions of up to 1920x1080, including 1080p 3D, making it ideal for a variety of uses, from AV and digital signage applications to education, business, retail and healthcare.

The transmitter unit includes a local HDMI output that can be used to connect a local display for monitoring. This HDMI output can also be used to cascade up to three transmitters, enabling up to 12 displays to be connected to a single source.

The Extender Splitter also features a function for cloning EDID data from a connected display, and a built-in EDID emulation system with 9 EDID presets, ensuring optimum compatibility with a variety of EDID-compatible devices.

The Power over Cat.6 (PoC) function enables the entire installation to be powered from a single power source connected to the transmitter, ideal for installations where receivers may be located far from a mains power source. The power connection is provided by a round screw DC socket, offering a secure and reliable connection.

Thanks to its slim design and integrated mounting brackets, the Extender Splitter is easy to install, even in tight spaces behind modern flat screens. It's also covered by a 2-year warranty.
