Description
The LINDY Extender HDBaseT HDMI 2.0 18G and IR is an efficient solution for transmitting HDMI 2.0 signals over long distances, up to 100m, using a single Category 6 cable.
This extender is perfectly suited to today's AV installations, as it supports Ultra HD 4K 60Hz resolutions, including HDR (High Dynamic Range) and HDCP 2.2 resolutions. Thanks to lossless and delay-free compression technology, the extender is capable of delivering a full range of HDMI 2.0 resolutions over impressive distances, with bandwidths of up to 18 Gbit/s, using HDBaseT technology.
With a high-quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable cable, you can achieve the following distance and resolution combinations:
100m for 1080p60 4:4:4:4 12bit / 3D 1080p30 4:4:4:4 12bit
70m for 4K 2160p60 4:4:4:4 8bit / 1080p120 4:4:4:4 8bit / 1080p60 4:4:4:4 16bit
In addition to HDMI, the extender supports IR and bidirectional RS-232 signals for control applications, and features an Ethernet port for control via the network.
To make installation easier and more discreet, the extender supports PoC (Power over Cat.6) function, which enables both units to be powered by a single power supply connected to the transmitter. The power connector is a screw-type DC jack, guaranteeing a secure and reliable connection, ideal for installations where accidental disconnections could occur.
