By combining this transmitter with a compatible HDBaseT receiver such as Lindy No. 38214 and 38342, this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 70m. The following distance and resolution combinations are possible using a high-quality Category 6 or higher U/UTP or F/UTP cable: 70m :1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit 40m :3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit Support for resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD enables stunningly clear video viewing, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) enables content to be displayed with increased brightness, higher black and white contrasts and a much wider color gamut. It's a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in stores, immersive displays at events or eye-catching set-ups in large conference rooms or lecture halls. PoC (Power over Cable) functionality with on/off switch offers additional flexibility. It enables power to be supplied at the same time as data via a Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between transmitter and receiver, meaning that only one power supply is needed on one side of the installation. Thanks to bi-directional IR ports on both sides of the system, source equipment can be easily controlled from the screen side, and the screen can also be controlled from the HDMI source side. This extension system provides complete and simple control for the user, who also has access to an RS-232 port via a terminal block on the back of the wallplate. HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for high-quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low-cost Cat.6 or higher cable.
