Lindy's HDMI 8x8 4K60 matrix supports HDMI 2.0b 18G signals, enabling the transmission of clear 4K Ultra HD 60Hz resolutions. Additional support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) ensures that video content is displayed with enhanced brightness, higher contrast and a much wider color gamut, perfect for digital signage displays in retail, the creation of informative multi-screen setups in education or content distribution in commercial facilities such as cinemas. HDCP 2.2 support ensures there are no problems with a wide range of 4K content when connected to source devices including set-top boxes, Blu-Ray players and 4K HDR media players. In addition to HDMI pass-through audio, individual Coax and 3.5 mm ports allow separate connection of digital speaker systems and amplifiers, creating immersive audio experiences to complement video content. The ARC (Audio Return Channel) function allows audio from a TV to be sent to an audio system or sound bar via the same HDMI cable used to send video to the TV. This eliminates the need for a separate audio cable and simplifies the installation process. The matrix also features a downscale function for each output port from 4K to Full HD, facilitating installations with older screens while ensuring that the viewer receives an optimal image from his or her screen. This matrix can be easily controlled via a push-button on the unit, while the included remote control and IR extender also give the user greater control over multiple videos and screens, ideal for trade shows, training presentations or sales demonstrations.
