Description
With a digital wireless 2.4 GHz ultra-low-latency link, the EWI5000 gives you the freedom to play freely and let the energy of your performance carry you, especially on stage. It comes with a receiver and runs on a rechargeable battery for up to 6 hours. With its USB port, MIDI output, 6.35mm audio output and 3.5mm headphone output, the EWI5000 fits in with the rest of your gear. Virtual synths, samplers or traditional MIDI plug-ins can all connect to the EWI5000, just like sound systems and your headphones.
Familiar expressivity
The EWI5000 features a breath-sensitive mouthpiece that analyzes jaw pressure and airflow to create real-time vibratos and style effects. This advanced feature allows you to control your playing volume as well as the dynamics of your sound. The expressiveness of your playing will also be perfectly reproduced thanks to the 8 buttons for adjusting instrument parameters or effects and the 8 octave selection wheels located under the instrument and the 13 sensitive keys on top. Musicians will find the EWI5000 a new way to enrich their playing and performance on stage. Its interface can be switched from flute to oboe to saxophone fingering. An EVI (Piston Instruments) mode is also available for brass players.
From traditional to modern sounds !
The EWI finally contains more than 3GB of SONIVOX sounds, which include all genres, from traditional orchestral sounds (horns, brass, woodwinds...) to more modern sounds (synths, basses...). It comes with an editing software, compatible Mac and PC to manage your sounds directly from your computer via a USB connection. Use the filter, the 2LFO and many other functions to shape your sound. Store the result on your EWI5000 to use a collection of sounds in your own image directly on your wind controller.
