Building on its high-performing wireless systems, Nux developed the B-8, featuring a very compact, battery-powered transmitter that automatically pairs with a pedal-format receiver designed to fit perfectly on your pedalboard. Operating on the 2.4 GHz wireless band, it delivers high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz audio with transmission latency from 2.5 ms (performance) to 8.7 ms (signal stability), for optimal feel and playability. Its operating range extends up to 60 m depending on the environment, giving you wide freedom of movement.
Versatility and simplicity for all instruments
The Nux B-8 wireless system suits a variety of instruments, including electric and electro-acoustic guitars, bass, and electric ukuleles. It’s easy to use: the transmitter and receiver sync in just seconds, and the transmitter’s battery offers up to 6.5 hours of play time. Recharge the transmitter by docking it onto the receiver’s color LCD screen, or via the included USB-C cable. The receiver’s USB port also lets you update the firmware and customize the startup screen image.

The switchable Cable Tone function simulates the frequency response of a traditional jack cable for a warmer, rounder tone—ideal when you want that classic sound even with a wireless system. The same footswitch can also trigger a +12 dB boost to strengthen your signal or lift your solos. A clever effects loop lets you insert other pedals into your signal chain and route the signal cleanly back to your amp. Finally, the balanced XLR DI output makes it easy to connect directly to a mixing console or audio interface, meeting the demands of the most rigorous studio or stage setups.
