The range also includes a surface microphone transmitter with omnidirectional or cardioid pickup patterns, and a table-base transmitter compatible with Microflex modular goosenecks. The ULX-D digital wireless system range is designed for the most demanding live events and fixed installations. Key strengths of the ULX-D system Digital audio 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio processing delivers an incredibly faithful and accurate reproduction of sound sources, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a dynamic range greater than 120 dB. RF performance The RF signal stability and exceptional spectral efficiency of the ULX-D range allow up to 560 compatible frequencies to be used within a frequency band in High Density mode. Signal encryption 256-bit signal encryption ensures privacy protection — for all installations where confidentiality is essential. Network control Ethernet networking of multiple receivers enables use of the Wireless Workbench 6 software, frequency coordination via the Axient Spectrum Manager, system control with an external controller, and integration with the Dante™ digital audio network (except single receiver). Remote monitoring and control is available from iOS or Android devices with the ShurePlus™ Channel app. Power ULX-D transmitters can be powered either by two AA (LR6) batteries or by a Shure SB900B rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that displays remaining time in hours and minutes with an accuracy of +/- 15 minutes. The ULX-D series is available in VHF and UHF in the frequency bands V51 (174–216 MHz), G51 (470–534 MHz), H51 (534–598 MHz), K51 (606–670 MHz) and now in wideband G56 (470–636 MHz). Metal-housed digital receiver in 1/2 rack 19" format with external power supply. It features a backlit LCD display and intuitive menu-driven operation.
