Description
The PRE116 is built as a six-channel stereo preamplifier with two channels of balanced microphone inputs that offer three-band tone control, gain control, phantom power and ducking. The phantom power supplies a 15V voltage to the corresponding microphone channel to power the condenser microphones. When ducking is activated, other music sources are attenuated when a microphone signal is present. The other four channels are direct line inputs, one of which is stereo and balanced. All channel connections and settings are made on the rear of the PRE116 while on the front panel all individual channel volume control knobs are available as well as the overall output volume control with two tone control strips.
