The heavy steel construction and baked enamel finish provide maximum protection and durability in extreme conditions. An internal sliding tray allows for frequent module swapping with ease. The rear panel features an impressive array of male and female XLR connectors. As with the Workhorse, the Powerhouse features an innovative 'feed' function that routes modules directly to each other without the need for a cable. The Powerhouse also features an OMNIPORT socket on each slot. This TRS jack allows each third-party module manufacturer to implement a unique function for a given module, such as the 'side-chain' of a compressor or the instrument input of the preamp.
The Powerhouse has a 1.6 Amp power supply that allows you to largely distill power for a large number of 500 modules. This is power in the raw!
