Since 1982, the year it was first produced, thousands of aspiring drummers worldwide have cut their teeth on the Pearl Export! And the return of this complete Pearl configuration, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of cash-strapped musicians, can only delight young and old alike. This new edition adds the Demonator bass drum pedal and a Sabian SBR cymbal pack. All that’s missing is the drummer—not included…
All-new suspension mounts.
But the new features don’t stop there, thanks to innovative tom suspension mounts that rival far more expensive systems. The OptiLoc system uses high-performance rubber components to deliver maximum sustain and great resonance in every situation. Plus, this mounting system adapts in a snap to your usual playing position.
Poplar and mahogany.
When it comes to shells, Pearl has banished the flimsy “crate wood” found on some low-cost brands in favor of a six-ply combination of poplar and mahogany—an obvious winner. The same attention to quality is found on the various stands, particularly the snare and cymbal stands featuring the UniLock system, remarkably effective in any position.
