Description

Since 1982, the year it was first produced, thousands of aspiring drummers worldwide have cut their teeth on the Pearl Export! And the return of this complete Pearl configuration, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of cash-strapped musicians, is sure to delight young and old alike. This new edition adds the Demonator bass drum pedal and a Sabian SBR cymbal pack. The only thing missing is the drummer—not included…

All-new mounts.

But the innovations don’t stop there, thanks to brand-new tom mounts that rival far more expensive systems. The OptiLoc system uses high-performance rubber components for maximum sustain and rich resonance in any situation. And the mounting system adjusts in seconds to your usual playing position.

Poplar and mahogany.

When it comes to shells, Pearl has managed to consign the crate-wood shells of some low-cost brands to the past, opting instead for a six-ply poplar/mahogany combination—an obviously winning match. That same commitment to quality is found in the hardware, especially the snare and cymbal stands, which feature the UniLock system for formidable effectiveness in any position.

An attractive kit.

And what about the Demonator bass drum pedal, which by itself can justify choosing an Export kit? A pedal that combines smart adjustability with ease of use and all the comfort you want. Its compelling technical features will win you over as soon as you try it at your music store. The sound is truly there—warm, precise and, of course, powerful.

Elegant yet rugged.

Seasoned players know the Pearl Export has ruled the entry-level drum market for over 40 years, with workmanship that’s as refined inside as it is outside. The finish is so smooth you won’t risk a splinter when changing a head! On the outside, apart from the Junior, each of the three configurations comes in six colors, including the stunning “Metallic Amethyst Twist.” What’s more, Pearl has always been renowned for the quality and longevity of its hardware. Yet this new version raises the bar even higher. Parents can rest easy: this kit is perfect for young players—but not only them!

A legendary, versatile drum kit.

Poplar is known for power and versatility. With the 20 x 16-inch bass drum and “fusion” tom sizes, every style is in its sights, with tunings ranging from tight to loose. Everything works, especially since these shells are built to pack a punch.

All that’s left is to play…

By including with the Export the new HWP-834 hardware pack—comprising a Demonator bass drum pedal, a Demon-style hi-hat stand, an S-830 snare stand, now two BC-930 convertible boom/straight cymbal stands, and a set of cymbals—this kit is ideal for getting started. Pearl has thought of everyone taking their first steps. With this hardware, a pro could confidently take it on tour. Good news: this iconic kit is ready to play and to take on any challenge! In this highly versatile version, it remains the dream tool for starting strong.
