Description

Blackouts® Strat pickups feature a unique two-pin configuration beneath the pickup, offering two output modes: medium gain and high gain. These pins can also be wired to a mini-switch or a push/pull pot to add a built-in boost. If you love the sound and playability of your Stratocaster®-style guitar but hate the hum and low output of pickups, this upgrade is for you.


Available individually or as a complete kit, Blackouts pickups for Stratocaster® fit all standard single-coil pickup positions.

They come with 25 kΩ potentiometers, a tone capacitor (kit only), a TRS output jack, a battery clip, and the necessary mounting hardware.

Good to know:

- Neck/middle position models will have the same output level, winding direction, and magnetic polarity.

- All kits, except the Jimi Hendrix signature model, are equipped with a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP) middle pickup.

- Middle position RWRP (reverse-wound/reverse-polarity): choose this option to benefit from a hum-reducing middle pickup compatible with our neck and bridge models.
