Description
Brad wanted to expand his sonic palette by adding the warmth and versatility of a neck pickup while preserving the clean, iconic look of the Esquire. That’s how this stealth pickup was born: a single-coil specially designed to be hidden under the pickguard, completely invisible yet incredibly effective.
The Secret Agent uses a ceramic magnet with medium output. Positioned farther from the strings and therefore with reduced magnetic pull, it delivers a rich, warm, almost jazzy tone, adding a smoothness that perfectly contrasts with the bite of a traditional Esquire or Tele bridge pickup. This setup creates a natural complement.
Brad Paisley himself describes the Secret Agent as “my favorite Tele neck pickup,” a testament to the effectiveness of this discreet, formidable concept. Designed like an undercover agent, it enhances the guitar without altering its look, adding true versatility while remaining completely invisible.
