For nearly forty years, Slash has relied on Seymour Duncan pickups to shape the unmistakable tone that defined an entire generation. From the first Slash model, designed to recreate the legendary tones of Appetite for Destruction, to the more powerful Slash 2.0 set built for stadium performances, his signature humbuckers have in turn become iconic. As Slash explains: “You get more output, but still the same clarity and honesty in the guitar’s sound. I now have the best of both worlds: my original Slash pickups, which I’ve always used on most of my guitars, as well as the 2.0 and 3.0 versions for other instruments and other situations where you need a bit more power.”
