In addition to his SG®, he now uses the 3.0s live on other guitars that benefit from this extra power. For nearly forty years, Slash has trusted Seymour Duncan pickups to shape the unmistakable sound that has defined an entire generation. From the first Slash model, designed to recreate the legendary tones of Appetite for Destruction, to the more powerful Slash 2.0 set built for stadium performances, his signature humbuckers have themselves become iconic. As Slash explains: “You get more output, but still the same clarity and honesty in the guitar’s sound.
