Description

Trembucker model, in UNIQUE Custom Yellow finish. Resistance: 17.9k. The Alternative 8 humbucker is the only pickup in the Seymour Duncan lineup that uses Alnico 8 magnets. This specific combination delivers a smooth high-end response similar to Alnico 2, a midrange emphasis like Alnico 5, and the power of a ceramic magnet. Coupled with a high-output winding, the result is a powerful, punchy tone that stands out in the mix without being harsh. It is recommended to pair it with a ’59 (SH-1N) or a Jazz (SH-2N) in the neck position for a balanced setup.
